Messages Received.
From John G4HMG in Spain - on Saturday
evening.
After many alarms and excursions we stopped
at Sue and Marks home on Wednesday evening for a meal.
At 11.0pm we went out to the bus to drive to Portsmouth for a stop on
the Quay before the 8.45am sailing for Caen,
the Bilbao sailing having been cancelled. Problem!! the starter motor
was jammed. We called out our rescue service
and they had it freed up by Midnight. It was a cold night without a hook
up but we started alright in the morning leaving
10mins early and early on arrival. We have had 2 very cold nights and
days getting here with waste outlet and screen
washer frozen but with help from Diana we have arrived here at Roses on
the Costa Brava in only 2 and a bit days.
It is much warmer than in France and we have had a gorgeous sunset this
evening. We are going out for a meal in a few minutes.
Surprisingly this small site has Wi Fi, thus
the Email. I shall try the VK net in the morning but have no high
hopes.
Maybe I will get Jim later. All the best for now and I hope we make it
tomorrow. If not please spread wishes around.
73 John and Diana
